HHA (Home Health Aid)
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Home Health
Aide course is a continuing education for CNA that will prepare the student for
employment in a Home Health Agency or Health Care Registry. Emphasis is on
Care of patients in home setting dealing with psychosocial needs of patients and
members of their household. This 40 hour course is an upgrade
credited as 26 Continuing Education units for CNA, or other Nursing and Allied
Health licenses. CNA state license must be current to receive and maintain
HHA license from the DHS (Department of Health Services) after completion of the
program.
