AMHS (Allied Medical & Health Services) School was granted Institutional Approval by BPPE (Bureau for Private Post-Secondary Education) Pursuant to California Education Code Section 94311 and the Department of Health Services in Consonance with Title 22, Section 71835 since 1995. Its operation and curriculum comply with the standards established under law for private school and the guidelines of the state for vocational training school. Other governing State Agencies or Departments regulating this institution are Department of Health Services (DHS), and Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technician (BVNPT).
The mission of AMHS School is to create nursing and allied health educational training programs that will prepare students to develop the quality of skills an dknowledge they need in patient care whether for hospital, long term care facility employment and/or health agency employment. To this end, AMHS courses has been designed to foster opportunities for learning, self-discipline, proper attitude, professionalism and the ability to meet employer expectations, meet work market demands, and top off the competitive job placement environment.
AMHS believes in the philosophy of providing allied health education that needs of an ever-growing and longevity-oriented population. It also recognizes the liability-accountability challenges of the society and upholds the value system.
